Organic Cotton (OC)
5 naturally occurring colors/shades - (VEGAN! no dye!) Free from herbicides, pesticides and other agro-chemicals. These are very soft eco-friendly yarns that are not dyed so they don't fade. This Organic colorgrown oc was grown in Texas and processed in South Carolina. Naturally colored oc yarns are very special. Colors deepen and darken with use, not fading like dyed. These fiber colors become richer with washing. Hand wash in tepid water using a mild soap like Dr. Bronners. Do not twist. Shape and dry flat.

Hemp/Wool Blend (HW)
7 Colors - 3 Season comfort! I recommend throwing in the dryer on gentle to 'fluff', hand wash once a year if needed. Best drying is in the sun, dryer gentle if you must. Don't wring or stretch them when wet - the hat will stretch and stay bigger. Stretch if you would like more growing room, tams are like a good pair of jeans that way.

Banana Silk Yarn (BANSILK)
7 Colors - VEGAN! Imported thru southern Vermont and run by husband and wife team. Exotic hand spun yarns from women’s cooperatives, FAIR TRADE. This fabulous handspun yarn is soft, shiny, and is made from natural fibers. Banana Silk is hand spun by women in Nepal. The yarn is available kettle dyed or hand painted. Due to the nature of hand spun yarns , hand wash in cold water only if soiled. 'Freshen' using wind or sun. Spot clean with tepid water using a mild soap like Dr. Bronners.
